Lambton Lions Esports is thrilled to formally announce the titles it will compete in for the 2020-2021 academic year. For the last several months, suggestions had been taken from current and future Lambton College students to find out what games they wanted to compete in. As a result, the Lions will enter the 2020-21 season in six titles.
League of Legends, Rocket League, Fortnite and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will return from last season. After a one year hiatus, Overwatch returns to the Lambton Lions Esports program.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (and future releases) will now be added to the varsity program as well, which comes after the debut of the “Lambton CoD” club team last season.
‘Team Manager’ student positions have been created for each team. Job postings will be announced before the end of July.
The open tryout schedule will be released in early August. Those interested in playing for the Lambton Lions Esports varsity team are asked to contact Tony Frangis, Esports Coordinator at tony.frangis@lambtoncollege.ca or TFGreek#0708 on Discord.
