The Lambton Lions varsity League of Legends team competed this past Saturday against Case Western Reserve University in Collegiate Starleague action.
The first matchup did not go according to plan for the Lions as they were defeated by the Cleveland-based school 19-9. While the second match was closer, it also resulted in defeat for the Lions as Case Western completed the sweep with a 25-18 score. Lambton was unable to draw first blood in either game.
The next match for the Lions was originally scheduled for Saturday November 3 against St. John Fisher College out of Rochester, NY but will now be slated as a victory in favour of the Lions due to forfeit.
The next CSL League of Legends match for the Lions will now be on November 10 at 3pm EST against Duke University’s “Duke Engage” team.
