Lambton College is teaming up with ProGuides to conduct a multi-phase research study on the effects that coaching, analytics and lifestyle have on a player’s gameplay. This study will cover a wide range of topics related to personal gameplay and lifestyle habits.
Successful applicants are the first 40 people who meet the minimum requirement of a level 30 account. Participants must play League of Legends. This study will not exceed 40 participants. This study will require approximately 5 hours of time spread out over the course of 4 weeks.
PHASE ONE: Successful applicants will complete a variety of simple questionnaires regarding lifestyle habits and a mechanical skills test to determine if there is a correlation between them.
PHASE TWO: Participants will be given access to ProGuides accounts where they will complete the online “training modules” based on their in-game role. Upon completion, participants will be required to give feedback on their experiences with the program before moving to the next phase.
PHASE THREE: A limited number of participants will receive a one-on-one coaching session from a ProGuides “instaPRO” coach where they will have their gameplay analyzed and receive feedback on improvements. Participants will be required to complete a survey after their coaching session.
Participants will be given sequential compensation for completing each phase of the study that they are assigned.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: TUESDAY JANUARY 21, 2020
