The Lambton Lions Esports League of Legends team began their season on Wednesday night with a matchup against Laurentian University out of Sudbury, Ontario. Originally scheduled for this past Saturday, the Lions and the Voyaguers finally entered the rift on Wednesday for a back-and-forth Best-of-3 match. Splitting the first two games, the Lions would emerge victorious in the final game to take the match by a score of 2-1. The Lions will now play ‘Humber Blue Team’ this weekend as part of CSL’s ‘Star League’ competition scheduled to take place through February 2020.
