Week 2 of LEO 2019 kicked off Friday evening with a pair of Rocket League duos looking to continue their dominance. Beau’s Pankakes and Despacito 2 extended their undefeated streaks and are now tied atop the LEO standings. Despacito 2 put up an impressive 42 shots and scored a total of 27 goals in their 2 wins Friday evening. The Duo jumps from 5th place to 3rd place after winning both of their matches. Super Sayinjins and Pizza Time are now tied for 4th place with 2 wins and 2 losses each. Ball Chasers, Cool Jaxson, and Fatalz all sit at the bottom of the leaderboard with no wins yet, although Cool Jazon’s Colzim scored 10 goals on 20 shots, showing that they still have some fight in them heading in to Week 3.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate league play resumed this past Saturday with a changing of the guard atop the standings. After a strong showing in Week 1, Sauce continued to impress and now finds himself with not only a new name, but also the top spot in the leaderboard after snagging another 13 points. It now appears to be a two-horse race at the top of the table following another dominant performance from Kbash as well. Smaggles moved up two spots claiming 4th place with 11 points and there is now a two-way tie for 5th between Goodknight and Error with 10 points.
To close the weekend in League of Legends it started off with the top two teams, Vorpal Swords and Kawii Killers, going head-to-head to see who is the top team in LEO 2019. Vorpal Swords is the team that gets to keep their undefeated title after beating Kawii Killers by dropping a huge pentakill to end the game. Vorpal Swords ends the weekend with a 4-0 record and Kawii Killers sit in second at 3-1. Road 2 Success also won both of their games this weekend and moved into the third-place spot. Unfortunately, Drip Too hard and LC State Boyz couldn’t find traction this weekend and now find themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard.
