Over 3,300 people attended ‘Esports At The Hive’ on Sunday as the Sarnia Sting hosted the Kitchener Rangers on OHL hockey action. Members of the Lambton Lions Esports varsity team were on hand to drop the puck and take part in the festivities.
The Lions varsity program was well represented as Fortnite player Austin Beyak, FGC player Aleister Humes, Overwatch player/Smash Bros. Ultimate coach Ryan Hiebert and Smash Bros. Ultimate player Brock McCutcheon dropped the puck prior to the game. The players also took time throughout the afternoon to interact with local youth who attended the game and instruct them in their respective games at Lambton College’s interactive booth.
Lambton Lions Esports thanks the Sarnia Sting for hosting ‘Esports At The Hive’ and thanks the community for attending.
