Lambton Lions Esports — in conjunction with the Lambton College Gaming Community — has announced the creation of the “Sarnia Smash Series” (S3 for short). S3 is a monthly series of Smash Bros. Ultimate one-day tournaments that will take place at the Lion’s Den bar adjacent to the Lambton College Esports Arena.
The first four dates of the monthly series have been announced:

July 7
August 11
Cash prize amounts will be subject to the number of participants. Other perks include complimentary parking, complimentary guest WiFi, plus food and beverages will be available for purchase. Cash, debit and credit are all accepted methods of payment for all purchases including entry fees.
Tournament entry fees are $8 for Smash singles, and $5 per person for Smash squad strikes. A $2 venue fee per person is in effect for all competitors, but will be waived for any participants that bring their own monitor or Nintendo Switch. For competitors who bring both a monitor and a Nintendo Switch, the $2 venue fee will be waived and the competitor will receive a $2 voucher for food and non-alcoholic beverages at the Lion’s Den.
The event is free for spectators to attend and select matches will be streamed live at www.twitch.tv/lambtonesports.
