The Lambton Lions League of Legends team extended their unbeaten streak this past weekend. The team of LightsFaith, Mo2, Leebrah, Skecher and Peng made short work of the Queen’s University Golden Gaels on Saturday evening, sweeping the best-of-3 match 2-0. Skecher led all competitors issuing over 22,000 damage in Game 1, along with an additional 12,000 in Game 2.
The following day saw them take on Sheridan College Esports in a rescheduled match from earlier in the season. Mo2 led the charge with 29,173 damage in their Game 1 victory, while Skecher would hand out 16,232 damage in Game 2, sealing the victory for the Lions.
Lambton Lions Esports (5-0) now sits tied atop the Northeast 8 division in CSL’s Star League conference. Algonquin College also sports a 5-0 record. The two teams are slated to play January 25th.
The Lions now await a yet to be scheduled match against Humber College’s Blue Team before the holiday break.
