Waterloo would change the pace in Game 3 as they exceled at both ends, scoring 3 goals while holding Lambton to a single shot — one which resulted in a goal from Ahrupt. Darkbeam, Gib and dpn each tallied for the Warriors in their 3-1 win in Game 3, avoiding the sweep.
In a back-and-forth Game 4, the Lions got an offensive push from veterans Sin and Fowler as they each tallied once. The lone goal from Gib wouldn’t be enough for Waterloo to force a Game 5, as the Lions took Game 4 with a 2-1 score, clinching the 3-1 match victory for Lambton.
