The College League of Legends regular season came to a close this past weekend with hundreds of collegiate teams vying for favourable positions in the standings. The Lambton Lions sported a 2-3 record heading into Saturday’s best-of-3 season finale against DeSales University from Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Game 1 took 26 minutes to complete. Curtis ‘curtwonder’ Arsenault led the way for the Lions, racking up over 21,000 damage (36% of the team’s damage) and finishing with a 9/0/9 KDA en route to Lambton’s Game 1 victory. Another strong performance from ‘curtwonder’ would occur in Game 2, accumulating over 36,000 damage (39% of the team’s damage) and a 14/4/4 KDA as the Lions completed the 2-0 sweep of DeSales University.
The Lambton Lions finish the 2021 College League of Legends season with a 3-3 record, placing 38th out of 61 teams in the East Conference.
