It was a mixed opening weekend for the three Lambton Lions Esports duos competing in Collegiate Starleague’s Fortnite division.
The ‘LL Skrub’ duo of TomSkrub and aer0_ won via forfeit on the weekend in what was supposed to be their opening matchup vs. ‘Team Humble Guys’ from State University of New York – Canton. LL Skrub is back in action this weekend when they face Washington and Lee University out of Lexington City, Virginia.
The ‘LL Elites’ duo of Jbubz and Kbraand — who went a perfect 7-0 in their fall season — saw their first regular season blemish after falling 2-1 (7-10, 18-3, 1-3) to ‘ITE Red’ from the Illinois Institute of Technology from Chicago. Their next matchup in Conference #9 is scheduled for this Saturday when they play ‘DDD’ from the University of California – Santa Cruz.
In Conference #6, the ‘LL Sloths’ duo of Slow SL0TH and LL Goldenwing had their match vs. ‘RIT Esports Red’ postponed to a yet-to-be determined date.
