OCR — the recreational arm of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association — is now accepting registration for their latest esports league.
The organization previously hosted an NBA 2K20 event in the Fall 2020 semester, and is now preparing to launch an NHL 21 collegiate league for the Winter 2021 semester, in which all OCAA schools are invited to participate. The league will be capped at 128 individual participants in the 1v1 format which is set to begin later next month.
Lambton Lions Esports is looking for up to 8 current full-time Lambton College students to participate in the league. Separate divisions have been created for Xbox One and Playstation 4 players. Deadline to register in January 31st.
Any Lambton College students interested in participating in OCR Gaming NHL 21 are asked to contact Tony Frangis, Esports Coordinator via email (tony.frangis@lambtoncollege.ca) or TonyF#0708 on Discord.
