First-year students of Lambton College’s Esports Entrepreneurship and Administration program are hosting a series of exciting events this Spring! The events, which are set to begin on March 17th, will see participants compete in NBA 2K23 and Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
On March 17th, Lambton College students can compete in an NBA 2K23 tournament, followed by the Lambton College varsity athletes, who will compete in a separate tournament on March 18th. The top two players from each bracket will advance to the championship event on March 25th, which will take place at Lambton College during its Spring Open House.
Also just announced: the Lambton Kent Rocket League tournament also taking place March 25th at Lambton College. The tournament will feature a 3v3 format, with one bracket for secondary school students and another for elementary school students. The grand prize is $500, with additional prizes to be announced.
On April 1st, a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament will be held at Lambton College, Rm. D1-204. Entry fee is $20, with discounts available. This event is open to all members of the public.
