The Lambton Lions Esports varsity team has announced the tryout schedule for the 2019-20 competitive season. The Lions will be returning to action in 5 different games: Fortnite, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- Fortnite – Thursday Sept. 5, Friday Sept. 6
- Hearthstone – Wednesday Sept. 4, Friday Sept. 6
- League of Legends – Tuesday Sept. 10, Wednesday Sept. 11 (NOTE: Current rank must be Platinum 4 or higher)
- Rocket League – Wednesday Sept. 4, Thursday Sept. 5
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Monday Sept. 9, Thursday Sept. 12
All tryouts will begin at 4:30pm and end at approximately 8pm and will take place at the Lambton College Esports Arena (Room B1-201B). All competitors must be full-time Lambton College students in good academic standing to be eligible to compete for the Lambton Lions Esports varsity team.

The Lambton College Gaming Community student club will be assembling teams to compete in several additional games including Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition and Call of Duty Black Ops 4. More information will be released in the coming weeks.
